Joburg's most popular annual classical music festival returns with an inspired programme of orchestral, solo and chamber music performances, as well as silent movie screenings and talks. In spite of the name, it's not only Mozart on the programme, you can also expect performances of Strauss, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Schubert and Tchaikovsky among others as well as contemporary works by local composers. Venues for the festival include the grand Linder Auditorium, which boasts some of the best acoustics in the city, and the historic Randlord mansion Northwards.
