This annual independent and alternative art event showcases unusual and distinctive artworks by lesser-known local artists. Now in its 12th year, the event has an ethos that 'encourages a diverse art audience by offering fresh, dynamic and original work'.

This year's Joburg Fringe show takes place at The Art Room in Parkhurst and features new works by up-and-coming artists including Sibusiso Bheka, Charity Vilakazi and Moshe Chauke.
