Durban-based artist Kylie Wentzel's Salt is a mirage meets documentary-style painting exhibition that explores the Durban beachfront.

Like a travel guide to the promenade, with all its colour, and life, Wentzel's pop landscapes brilliantly conjure up the vibrancy of a day at the beach in Durbs. The imprint of the vivid patterns of the rickshaws, their drivers clutching currency, the flash of fast food signs, the sand artists carving their masterpieces for a handful of coins, and the Durban girl in her bikini. It's enough to make us want to set off for the coast!
