As part of Season Six of the Centre for the Less Good Idea, a collaborative and interdisciplinary arts space in Maboneng, Italian artist Marinella Senatore and the Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea bring a colourful new multi-disciplinary exhibition to Joburg, Senatore's School of Narrative Dance, a nomadic 'school' that focuses on non-hierarchical learning and emancipation and public performance.

Senatore’s work merges forms of resistance, vernacular and popular culture, dance and music, mass events and activism through collage, drawing, sculpture, performance, photography and video. Her collaboration with The Centre for the Less Good Idea promises to be a highly performative affair that includes major film works, 80 new works on paper and performative projects themed around dance, music, feminism, cultural expression and non-violent protest.

The exhibition ends on Saturday October 26 at 14:00 with a parade through the streets of Maboneng. Opening event Thu Oct 10 at 19:00. The exhibition is open daily from 11:00-17:00.
