Conceived by acclaimed contemporary dancer and choreographer, Ignatius van Heerden and directed by Gopala Davis, this collaboration combines theatre, film and dance. An adaptation of The Diary of Vaslav Nijinsky (1953), the performance offers a subjective view of the life of one of the 20th Century's greatest dancers Vaslav Nijinsky and his struggles with mental illness (Nijinsky was diagnosed with schizophrenia and spent much of his life in various mental asylums).
