Celebrating African creativity, the inaugural One Source Live festival brings together some of the hottest names on the South African music scene, with legendary kwaito group Bongo Maffin headlining the festival (the band’s first reunion in over a decade). The festival is split into two parts; a day programme and a night programme, with other performers on the line up including Gqom pioneer DJ Maphorisa, reggae-dancehall star Patoranking and rapper Khuli Chana.

As well as music, the One Source Live also features pop-up Afro-futurist exhibitions from South African and international artists including South African stylist and multimedia visual artist Trevor Stuurman, Belgium-born Senegalese artist Fabric Monteiro and internationally-renowned Kenyan photographer Osborne Macharia. Meanwhile for delicious snacks head to the Food Truck Collective market which will be occupying the expansive rooftop of the iconic 1 Eloff building. 

A chance to discover the rising-stars-to-watch on South Africa’s hip hop scene, One Source Live aims to "remind people that we all come from one source, Africa: the one source of humanity and the source of creativity”.
