Soweto’s biggest monthly poetry showcase Poetic Thursdays is a slam poetry session curated and hosted by locally renowned poet Poetic Justice that showcases the best in emerging South African spoken word poetry.

Headlining the February edition of the Poetic Thursdays is celebrated poetess Natalia Molebatsi who is joined by upcoming jazz poetess Moafrika Mokgathi. Zimbabwean-born instrument maker, entrepreneur and multi-instrumentalist Farai Machingambi is also on the lineup joined by guest DJ Louis Da XVI, a popular name on the Joburg party circuit.
