Flying Cows of Jozi, a Joburg-based organisation devoted to creating connections between organisations and students through work-experience projects in the digital education sector, leads this special fundraising concert and walking tour which is raising money for the students of the Gauteng Opera Academy.

The walk starts with coffee and a talk at the downtown 1 Fox Precinct before venturing out an a guided walk through the historic heart of downtown Joburg looking particularly at the city's history of activism and protest. The tour also celebrates the vibrant street life that makes the Joburg inner-city such a distinct place, taking in the wide variety of small street traders and shops, some of which have been around for almost a century.

The tour ends back at 1Fox at 12:30 with a performance by the Gauteng Opera company singers and the opportunity to buy lunch from one of the 1 Fox Market stalls.
