Join top-drawer local designers Black Coffee, Kat van Duinen, Lunar, and Guillotine by Lisa Jaffe for a preview of their spring collections at boutique shopping complex 44 Stanley in Milpark. Expect an evening of fashion, art, music and dance skillfully woven together at this offsite South African Fashion Week (SAFW) event plus plenty of champagne, courtesy of Billionaire's Row Champagne.
The programme kicks off at 16:00 with a performance by singer-songwriter Ruby Gill accompanying a ballet dancing duo at Lunar, a label synonymous with elegant bridal and evening wear, and whose new collection is inspired by classical dance. Also from 16:00 the sounds of Jude Harpstar’s electric blue harp will be the backdrop for Guillotine by Lisa Jaffe’s collection, inspired by changing weather patterns and the promise of all that a new spring season heralds. Expect architecturally inspired shapes and classic colouring brought to life by pops of lime, neon shades and blues.
Also new to 44 Stanley is Cape Town-based Polish designer Kat van Duinen whose standout luxury exotic leather accessories and refined classic pieces are a must for any stylish wardrobe, plus there's a 25% discount on offer for SAFW guests. Open until 19:00.
