The second edition of the annual Street Art Cinemart combines film screenings, exhibitions, live painting, street art walking tours and book and zine launches for a bumper celebration of all things street art.

Showcasing work by local graffiti and street artists, the group exhibition spills out of The Bioscope's cafe-bar Chalkboard and into the streets with sketch battles, live painting and merchandise on sale. As part of the event there is also a street art walking tour of the neighbourhood led by Jo Buitendach’s Past Experiences at 10:00. Booking is essential. Email past.experiences@hotmail.com to book.

Complementing the art on the street is a screening at 20:00 at The Bioscope independent cinema of the documentary film Faces Places about 89-year old Agnes Varda, one of the leading figures of the French New Wave, and acclaimed 33 year-old French photographer and muralist JR, who teamed up to travel through the villages of France meeting locals, learning their stories and producing epic-sized portraits of them displayed on the houses and storefronts of the villages.
