Led by dynamic young local guides the tour takes in the tastes of pan-African Yeoville (dubbed the 'United States of Africa') stopping at venues serving authentic foods from across Central, Western and East Africa, including places like Malalahitoka where you get to try traditional Ghanaian specialities such as wat, kifto, pondu and kwanga and Mama Osu's Nigerian eatery where unique dishes like akara and killshi await.
The four-hour tour costs R460 per person and starts in the Joburg City Centre every Friday and Sunday at 16:00 from where your guides will take you to Yeoville and walk you through this most colourful neighbourhood before dropping you back at the City Centre meeting point. All transport and food at every venue is included in the price.
