The AGOG Gallery in Maboneng hosts this fundraising art exhibition in aid of Moving Into Dance (MID), an outstanding Joburg-based non-profit dance company which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. The group exhibition showcases works by 40 prominent local contemporary artists including Gordon Froud, Lindo Zwane, Nkhensani Rihlampfu, Themba Khumalo and Leboghang Motaung whose artworks on show are all inspired by images from the dance company’s photographic archive. The photographic archive traces the company's fearless journey that has seen Moving Into Dance champion the cultivation and promotion of Afrofusion and rural dance through contemporary performance.

The exhibition closing festivities on Sun Aug 18 include a performance by the Moving Into Dance company from 14:00 of their multi-award winning production ROAD.
