As South Africa enters into a 21-day lockdown on Thursday March 26 at 23:59 to curb the Coronavirus spread, we at Johannesburg In Your Pocket are as determined as ever to share the best mix of cultural events (to be enjoyed online) and activities. These include awesome playlists by your favourite DJs to enjoy at home, recommended books to get you through isolation, virtual art events and more.

It is everyone's responsibility to stay home and help flatten the curve of this virus, and we have made it easy for you by bringing together all you need to know about how the city will run during lockdown.

We will continue updating our features and putting out new content as this crisis continues to help ensure that we also stay, calm, sane and united in our mission to stay at home and defeat the Coronavirus!
