One of the many strengths of Kato's annual Ars Cameralis Festival is its diversity and the unique interdisciplinary, eclectic attitude. The festival combines art events, music concerts, literature lectures, theatre performances, film screenings, a variety of workshops, and meetings with artists. The most exciting aspect of the festival each year is the international musicians it brings to Silesia, playing intimate (and crazy affordable) concerts in small venues like Hipnoza and Kino Rialto.

The unifying theme of 2024's programme is 'Heresy' (Herezje) - a celebration of dissenters, anarchists, rebels and groundbreaking artists who go against the grain. Taking place at 14 different venues across Silesia (primarily in Katowice), highlights include screenings of the BAFTA 2023 Shorts, Thelma & Louise, Dead Poet's Society, and Miller's Crossing; live concerts by Lambchop, Win Butler (Arcade Fire), Owen Pallet, Jesca Hoop, The Necks and more.
