Alexander Liebreich is going to conduct Czech Philharmonic Choir Brno Orchestra and Warsaw Boys Choir performing Arthur Honegger "Jeanne d'Arc au bûcher" ("Joan of Arc at the Stake"). The French composer's music is rhythmic, dissonant, austere but emotional, sometimes reminiscent of a film score. "Jean d'Arc au bûcher" is a dramatic oratorio, in which Honegger turned towards mysticism and religion.
