'Museum' is a bit of a misnomer, as this is a working arcade with over 100 vintage video games from the 1980s and 90s packed in tight rows, including pinball machines, shooting games, driving games and plenty of popular classics like Street Fighter, Aliens vs. Predator, Pac Man, Galaga, Space Invaders, Tekken, Mortal Kombat, NBA Jam and The Simpsons. Typically the purview of American strip malls, a small exhibit on the walls shows some great archival photos of the Polish arcades of yesteryear, as well as tracing the historical evolution of video games. Overall this is a great place for teens, or anyone who misses the primitive graphics, joystick jerking and button slapping of old school video games. Although it's located in a warehouse in the no-man's-land of Czyżyny, note that the Przewrotki roller rink is in the same building, so you can get some exercise too. Get there in 25mins via tram 14 from 'Teatr Słowackiego' to 'Centralna,' or just take a cab.

We decided this might be a fun way to spend a few hours during our precious few days in krakow, and it turned out to be just as fun as we hoped. Even the girlfriend who isnt all that much a gamer discovered her love for donkey Kong and had a blast with some retro gaming. Large variety of games; shooters, arcade racers and the like, as well as some cool pinball machines and odd niche korean cabinets too. The entry fee means free usage of all machines, so play to your heart's content. Pay for the unlimited time instead of 1 hour ticket, unless you're super short on time, but it wouldn't be enough to try many games in all honesty. We came from the city centre and got an uber there, cost us around 17pln and this is probably the best way of getting there because it's out in the styx. Friendly staff and overall enjoyable experience!
