This multimedia, interactive exhibit, aimed at school age children ages 7-16, explores the issues of modern engineering and the future of science from the fun, exciting perspective of the Futuronauts - time-travelling astro-archaeologists from the future, who have landed in Kraków's Engineering Museum to understand the past and repair their spacecraft. Visitors become members of the Futuronaut crew, even donning white suits, learning about different roles on the ship, and exploring its different areas as they play games and test their knowledge regarding space travel, sustainable food production, the environment and more. The goal of the exhibit is to interest young people in science and engineering, reflect on their own cpapbilities and talents, and to come up with alternative solutions to the broad ecological problems facing mankind today and in the future.
