Right on Plac Centralny, this burger joint boasts a great location and incredibly spacious interior that still retains its socialist realist layout and some original elements of design (check out the light fixtures). With massive windows and ceilings so high there's a mezzanine level and it still feels big, the simple interior is decorated with historical photos and very cool PRL-era Polish posters and graphics. In fact there's a deliberate attempt to tamp down the inherent elegance and grandeur of the design with plywood fixtures and cheap furniture, and it almost suffers from its spaciousness by feeling a bit empty.

As for burgers, they offer 28 different compositions of the classic American bar food, of which only three have something other than a beef patty (chicken, veggie cutlet, shrimp). While there are semi-creative choices like a burger with bacon, chorizo, fried mushrooms and Carolina Reaper sauce, and another with camembert, blue cheese, grapes, walnuts, vinagrette and honey, it kind of feels more like a pizza menu than a burger menu, where you're scanning endless options to find one that most meets your preferences. There's actually no shortage of burgers in Nowa Huta and we're not sure more options equals better results. That said, there is a shortage of places where you can get both a bite and a beer in this district, and in that regard this Huta Burger is a welcome addition, particularly the seasonal sidewalk patio.
