Intercultural Visual Form
Inspired by UNESCO's International Day of Light (and, in fact, organised around it), this year's Intercultural Visual Form focuses on the abstract theme of light in an intercultural context. Otherwise known as IVF, the project (now in its third year) is best described as a spontaneous cultural event that aims to bridge art (with a focus on film) into the public sphere, taking it out of spaces typically designated specifically for the arts, and into the everyday world where anyone can interact with it. Films of various genres and hailing from France, Belgium, and Poland are projected as part of the event, with the objective of encouraging intercultural dialogue and exploration.
