Krakoska - Cafe & Lunch

  ul. Św. Sebastiana 33 ,   Old Town          (+48) 792 92 00 44     05 Sep 2018
Despite what the name implies, Krakoska actually focuses mostly on breakfast and brunch, with the spotlight firmly on obwarzanek's cousin, the bagel (which might or might not have originated in Kraków - the issue is contentious). Choose from toasted bagel sandwiches with fillings like local sausage + pickles + horseradish or roast beef + red onion jam + homemade mustard (and vegetarian options, of course), or go big with the 'Kraków breakfast' of bacon, smoked mountain cheese, sausages, white bean paste, bread rolls, and veggies. Those with smaller appetites can go for porridge with fruits or challah bread with sweet spreads, and caffeine enthusiasts can rest assured that the coffee is indeed very tasty. Drop by later in the day for bryndza cheese pierogi, 'maczanka' (local take on pulled pork) and beef cheeks.
