Named after a tiny township in Sardinia, this large restaurant at the back-end of Błonia meadow offers authentic Italian food - primarily pasta and pizza, but also heartier main dishes of paella, salmon and duck (all of which are accompanied by wine recommendations), plus fish soup and salads. This being 2019, of course there are also burgers and a reuben (they make their own pastrami). With due reverence paid to the traditional dishes of Italian cuisine, there's also room for some unique creations like the shredded beef pizza with honey mustard sauce (damn good). The seasonal garden is enormous and filled with trees and flowers, while the casual interior is open, spacious and decorated liberally with colourful murals of Sardinian society. There's even a kids' menu and play area, making Mamoiada one of the best in the area for families and large groups.
