Incredibly popular at all hours, this buzzy 'Vodka & Resto Bar' in Podgórze is the current place to be seen in Kraków. In a smart, spacious post-industrial interior crammed with tiny tables and livened up with warm lighting, plenty of plants and loud, non-stop dance music (could do without that, honestly), Nadwiślańska offers a wide range of eats - pizza, tapas, pasta, duck, grilled meats and more. The breakfast deals (served until 12:00), followed by lunch specials, are simply tough to beat, but it's the drinks that make you check your watch and order one anyway. An array of infused vodkas can be had in their sodas, spritzers and outstanding signature cocktails, the latter of which are inspired by Slavic mythology (shoutout to Perun). For groups, the themed tasting boards present an opportunity to experience a range of exotic vodkas, like the 'Narcos' set featuring wormwood, cannabis, coca leaf, thujone, meteorite and calamus shots (ideal if one of your drinking buddies is a botanist). Note that the kitchen closes at 23:00.

Krakow Podgorze
I live around the corner and am honestly amazed by how popular this place is. I've gone multiple times at 09:00 when they open for breakfast and the place has already been packed. My wife and I can both eat a good breakfast with a cappuccino for only 22zł, which is quite a deal, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Perhaps it's the early hour, or maybe just the turnover, but I have to say some of the staff could be a might more endearing. Overall, I like this place, the food and drinks are good, but it is too loud to talk and I would like it a lot more if there were less people. The tables are ridiculously close together and they will not allow you to sit at anything other than their smallest table if there's only two of you.
