The exhibition features a collection of unique photographs documenting the history of the Kościuszko camp, through which over 22 thousand Polish volunteers passed through before 1917. After the 2-month training period, the volunteers would join the ranks of the so-called Blue Army, then they were transported to France, where they fought alongside French soldiers. After the war, about 12,500 soldiers returned to the United States and Canada and formed the Polish Army Veterans Association of America. The exhibition at the Kościuszko Mound is open to the public until November 26th.
