BIO26: 26th Ljubljana Biennial of Design

Back for its 26th edition, we weren’t at the first BIO back in 1963, which was also the first design biennial in Europe, but we’ve attended all the recent ones and have always been impressed. Organised by the Museum of Architecture and Design the BIO brings together multidisciplinary international teams of innovators and designers, who develop concepts, products and solutions aimed at meeting the needs of and reshaping modern society. The resulting exhibition is always thought provoking. Running from 14 Nov till 9 Feb next year, BIO also hosts a range of lectures, workshops, exhibitions and other events, so check out the official programme while you're in town.
