Since 2001, Slovene secondary school students have celebrated their impending graduation by taking to the streets for an organised dance routine. In recent years the event has grown bigger than ever, spreading to dozens of other cities throughout southeast Europe and earning a place in the Guinness Book of Records for the largest quadrille dance event in the world. Each year some 25,000 or more students take part in the festivities, of whom nearly 7,000 were in Ljubljana - dressed in their traditional orange and black shirts. You can catch the action yourself live, beginning at 12:00 sharp on Ljubljana's main thoroughfare Slovenska Cesta.
