The 2018 exhibition season in Plečnik's house in Ljubljana concludes with the exhibition Plečnik and the Sacred, which opens on Friday, 12 October. What was Plečnik's conception of the "holy" and how this manifested itself in his works, was examined by the sociologist Dr Tomaž Jurc, who worked closely with the curator Ana Porok in the research of materials stored in Plečnik's collection. For the exhibition, which will offer a few original Plečnik's plans, sketches and objects, in cooperation with the Department of Textile, Graphics and Design of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering of the University of Ljubljana, a reconstruction of the lost model of Plečnik's proposal for a monument to the military leader Jan Žižka from 1913 was made. Also, the exhibition will be accompanied by several interesting events; Among other things, an exhibition catalogue will also be published in January 2019.
