Paris. Dior. Do you know the topic? Of course you do. Christian Dior with the New Look created a revolution that returned Paris to its proper place as the capital of fashion following World War 2. Sensual femininity and elegance was once again at the forefront of style thanks to Dior bucking the trend of post-war economic realities. The Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź will recall the history of Dior and Parisian Haute couture courtesy of Polish collector and expert Adam Leja, owner of over 5000 objects of fashion history. The exhibition will comprise two parts. First being exclusively focussed on the Dior fashion house. It will showcase original costumes alongside complementary accessories, shoes, hats, and jewellery. The journey takes you through the entire history of the iconic fashion house. The second part of exhibition gives you an inside look of the famous designer through films, photos, and archival publications devoted to the revolutionary brand. This a fashionista must see event.
