After being forced into a strictly online format due to COVID-19 last year, this year's 2021 conference will take a hybrid approach with everything streamed online while simultaneously 'returning to the stage' - literally - with live events for a limited number of participants at Słowacki Theatre. A full day of speakers, presentations and workshops will culminate in a live performance of 'Jedzonko' (Nosh) - a play about the culture of consumption - on the theatre stage (in-person seats limited to 50). This year's theme is 'Creators' and will introduce the conference's Top 10 Restaurateurs who will present their achievements over the past two+ years in hopes of winning the conference's 'Top Creator' prize. EIT Food will also be conducting a study called 'Restaurant of the Future,' comprising of research and workshops aimed at aiding the Hotel and catering industry going forward in these difficult times.
