Massolit Bakes

Staunch supporters of Massolit since our first steps in Kraków, we're thrilled to see them successfully supporting their passions for books and baking with this, their incredible fourth venue in town. Located just off Plac Bohaterów Getta in Podgórze, Massolit Bakes is a small neighbourhood bakery and cafe offering a variety of fresh-baked breads (sourdough, challah), baguettes, bagels and American pastries and cookies - the cardamom cinnamon buns are amazing! - plus pour-over coffee and ready-made sandwiches. All the baked goodies are made fresh on-site in the enormous 1970s oven in the back, and all their creations are either vegan or vegetarian. With limited seating, this is the kind of place to grab something delicious as you go by, but the stylish NYC Art Deco-inspired interior and the cheerful ladies behind the counter will make you want to linger, if not become a regular patron (as we have).
