This beachside monolith strikes a nice balance between business and pleasure and offers everything you'd expect from such a well-known brand including a swish lobby bar and three floors of upgraded rooms. Located right on the border between Gdańsk and Sopot, while the address may be Gdańsk it is worth noting that the hotel is much closer to the centre of Sopot. As a plus, many rooms have a sea view as well as complimentary entry to the on-site pool and sauna.

we stayed at this hotel on from the 17-20th nov 2008. the foyer is clean and well presented and the reception staff friendly. the room itself (208) was right next to the elevator entry so in the summer high season it must be very noisy indeed as even though the hotel was nowhere near full, we heard every single use of the elevator. the room did not have a/c and even in the winter it was too hot! the only facility we used was the pool which was clean and large enough to swim comfortably. the real sticking point was breakfast. do not pay extra for this as it is basic at very best! buy yourself some nice cereal and some instant coffee and you will have a better breakfast than is offered here. most of the "hot" food was cold and very unappetising.the hotel does have a great location with excellent beach access. i found gdansk "in your pocket" in the foyer and it was a real bonus - we stuck to the descriptions and suggestions thus avoiding some awful sounding places (which we actually checked out anyway and the descriptions were bang on!)
