Maria Emília was born in São Paulo, Brazil, but has always been in touch with fado music.
After singers like Mariza, Ana Moura, Carminho and others shooting star Maria Emília is after the release of her first album called „Casa de Fado“ certainly on her way to become another great and important voice of the new fado scene of Portugal.
