Arriving by Bus
9 buses a day run from the main bus station in Ljubljana, with the journey taking a little over 2 hours. The first bus leaves Ljubljana at 6:05 and the last at 15:00. Full schedule and prices can be found on the Ljubljana bus station's website at www.ap-ljubljana.si.

Arriving by Car
From Ljubljana take the A1 motorway to Koper, and follow the signs to Portorož which will take you along the coast from Koper on Route 111. On the hill above Portorož turn right on Koprska and follow the signs for about 4.5km to Piran - the road changes names several times, but it's a relatively straightforward drive. Parking within Piran proper is very restricted and expensive, but there is a large parking lot on the coast just outside of town where you can park for €8 per day. From Trieste in Italy take the S15 south to Koper and follow the directions above.

Arriving by Train
The nearest train station is in Koper, which has up to six trains a day to and from Ljubljana.
