Looking for a unique way to relax or get in touch with your creative side? The Lončarski Atelje (Pottery Studio) at the Slovene Ethnographic Museum offers a diverse programme of pottery and sculpting activities under the Play in Clay moniker. Locals and tourists alike can participate in everything ranging from organised children's workshops and customised thematic events to small group classes and individual lessons. There's even a special 'Play for Two' workshop for any couples who'd like to channel their inner Patrick Swayze and/or Demi Moore. [Editor's note: that's a reference to the film Ghost for our millennial readers]. The pottery studio is run by the sculptor Eva Peterson Lenassi, along with a team talented potters. Prices are very reasonable (from only €5 per person), and for those who would prefer to leave the sculpting to the professionals but still like a gift or souvenir to take home, original ceramic works are also for sale. The studio's entrance is through Kavarna SEM café, and lots more info is available on the Play in Clay Facebook page.
