Forced to live somewhat unfairly in the shadow of neighbouring Toruń, where annual numbers of tourists outnumber locals 5 to 1, Bydgoszcz is a calmer, more genuine alternative that boasts a tantalisingly-diverse and surprisingly-excellent choice of places to poke your nose in and generally enjoy.
