Karmello Alchemy

This chocolatier and cafe is one of Kraków's most exquisite spots for indulging the sweet tooth. In addition to coffee and chocolate drinks, several stunning display cases practically sparkle with over 50 varieties of exclusively-crafted chocolates, plus truffles, chocolate bars, candied chocolate-dipped fruit and other specialties. Perfect for picking up a nice gift in a pinch, or get them personalised in advance. So amazing it must be...Italian? Belgian? Swiss? Nope, Karmello actually hails from Bielsko-Biała - about 90mins southwest of Kraków in Silesia. In fact, Karmello is one of Poland's most successful international brands, with multiple locations in Japan and Saudi Arabia. We haven't been to those, but this great cafe/shop on Plac Wszystkich Świętych is their flagship spot in Poland, so check it out. Also find them locally at ul. Floriańska 40, and in almost every shopping centre: Galeria Krakowska, Galeria Kazimierz, Bonarka, M1 and Serenada.
