This secluded little villa was once the summer residence of Kaiser Wilhelm II, but has over the years lost much of its royal charm. Rooms are clean and comfortable if dated, but on the plus side Maryla is far enough from the centre to avoid the late night revelry of the holidaying hoi polloi, and is just a stone's throw from the beach. Little cottages are also available for rental in the wooded garden during the summer.
