Bistro Warszawa

Proof that not every restaurant on the Old Town Square has to be a kitschy Polish throwback comes in the shape of the stylish Bistro Warszawa, where soothing whites and greys - and no knickknacks in sight! - offer a modern oasis in the heart of the historic district. Though the menu looks Warsaw's interwar era for inspiration, the dishes are distinctly modern in their composition and presentation. While the atmosphere (and the regular live music) suggests an upscale experience, don’t be afraid to order the more pedestrian Bistro burger, which comes complete with a frying basket full of chips/fries. There's also a minimal kid's menu and a small corner of toys for the wee ones.
