As well as containing the remains of writer Stefan Żeromski, this cemetery is also the resting place of the youngest victim of Pawiak Prison and the then Gestapo regime, Kaj Silversjold aged six months. Be sure to check out the Teutonic style inscriptions on some of the graves. Looming over it all is the Kronenburg mausoleum, a striking necropolis built for one of Warsaw’s most famed industrialists.
