Hybrydy, in various incarnations, was actually one of the oldest clubs in Warsaw. Its roots go back to the jazz and poetry beatnik era of the late 1950’s via the alternative music scene of the rebellious 1970’s and 80’s. Under the ownership of Warsaw University it's now evolved into a concert venue, stand-up comedu nights and a variety of one-off events, so gone are the days when a mainly student orientated clientele would strut their funky stuff on the dance floor.
