St. John of Nepomuk's Church

Park Szczytnicki ,   Centennial Hall & Surrounds         more than a year ago
While you're in Szczynicki Park, keep your eyes peeled for the small Church of St. John of Nepomuk - a marvellous 14th-century wooden church moved to the park from the Opole region and miraculously undamaged during the war. Located close to the Pergola and Japanese Garden, if you can get inside you'll find the wonderful smell of an old wooden church and a curious collection of random paintings.
