Sure, this would be a poor base for exploring Łódź, but it's location right between Łódź and Poznań on the A2 highway, plus its proximity to other popular destinations like Licheń (the largest church in PL!) and Uniejów (hot springs!), make it worth a mention. While it may seem like the middle of nowhere, the high quality of the rooms, facilities, and even the restaurant, are hardly provincial and perfectly recommendable. Did we mention it's on the edge of a large natural preserve and landscape park? When you are getting some shut-eye in the comfy beds, keep your eye out for rare waterfowl from the nearby wetlands. A great stop-over point, if you're over this way.
