This brand new museum, housed in a beautiful renovated farmhouse is an ideal follow on activity after checking out Postojna Cave or Predjama Castle, being in the near vicinity of the latter. There's a collection of hunting artifacts and World War II exhibition focusing on the Soča front (remember 'A Farewell to Arms'?), but perhaps more importantly, there's wine! Yes, what better way to finish the days underground exploration with a tipple or two at 'the old woman's place' (Pri Stari Dami, i.e. the name of the museum)? Of course, that was a rhetorical question! After you've got a bit tipsy trying some of the local vino, you can purchase some locally produced souvenirs at their little on-site shop to round off the day.
