Taczaka Street Pub Crawl
more than a year agoUlica Taczaka - the ‘high street’ of Poznań’s down-at-heel ‘student ghetto’ - offers one such opportunity to approach the city’s alcohol culture as one might sightseeing - and absorb as much as you can as efficiently as possible. Located just a five minute stroll away from the main square, this street is about as far removed from the bright lights and tourist-packaging of Stary Rynek as you could wish for, and arguably more authentic. Here you'll discover scores of cellar pubs within staggering distance of each other, all of them worth investigating on their own merits, and all of them full of Poznań’s finest steering themselves towards the same good time you're likely searching for. As such, don’t be surprised to come across hoards of boozed-up students and drunken expats testing their pigeon Polish on the local ladies. It’s not for everyone, but if that sounds like your society, start at Taczaka's top end (off ul. Ratajczaka) and follow us as we guide you through one of Poznań’s most densely packed nightlife thoroughfares.
