As rural populations have moved from the countryside to the cities, the architecture used to maintain the farmers' lifestyle is left behind. The wood buildings left to rot and cave in on themselves. Distilleries which used to make us a drink for happy hour now lay in disrepair. These buildings of agriculture were of high importance to the past occupants and were beautifully decorated and built with a flair in the design. Many of the buildings were a display of wealth for the owners but now are in ruin after cultural and political shifts away from the lifestyle. This photo exhibition by Waldemar Śliwczyński sheds some light on this forgotten heritage of Poland.
