St. Louis, Memphis, Kansas City and now… Riga? Well, the Latvian capital may still have room to grow in its love for barbecue, but this family-run ribs joint is passionate about slow-cooked and smoked pork, chicken and even turkey. Although the menu differs slightly from day to day, you can almost always expect a soup of the day (like the tangy gazpacho soup in summer), an enormous pulled pork sandwich and a pulled pork or smoked chicken wrap that’s also filled with homemade mashed potatoes and salad. Racks of ribs can also be ordered ahead of time, but bear in mind that this is basically just a shop, so you’ll have to take your food with you. You’ll see locals stuffing their faces in their cars outside.
