No, it’s not what you think. That’s an ‘i’ and not a ‘y’ at the end of Kinki. In fact, Kinki is an elegant, some might say stylish Asian restaurant providing modern ambient mood music and an original décor whose main feature is a series of white, gold and silver frescoes depicting life in a coy pond complete with fish and lily pads. Even the cutlery and glassware are unique. We tried the ramen soup with beef short ribs and a stir fry with exotic vegetables and prawns and were not disappointed. The delicious food is by no means cheap, but an affordable lunch special is available on weekdays.
