If you’re looking for a contemporary take on traditional Latvian cuisine then look no further than this cosy restaurant spread out over the ground floor of a charming Old Riga building erected in 1702. The small menu emphasises seasonal local food raised or caught in Latvia from free range chickens and fish to organic lamb and pork served with vegetables grown on sustainable farms in the countryside. A number of Latvian berry wines and brews are also available and the interior is bright with light furniture and white-washed walls sparsely decorated with colourful landscape photos.
