Judging by the number of young bearded men in attendance here on a weeknight, one wouldn’t be wrong for thinking that Vest is one of Riga’s most popular hipster bars (with affluent hipsters anyway). Everything in this brick house is painted grey from the walls and ceiling to the concrete floor, but at least the furniture is made of solid wood and vintage motorcycles add a splash of colour here and there. Use the free wi-fi while drinking an expensive Latvian microbrew or grab a seat outside on the summer terrace. An extensive and imaginative menu is one of its highlights and we especially appreciated the excellent breakfast food on offer until 15:00.
