Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church

  Kirovskiy prospekt 57      (+7) 988 581 08 70     more than a year ago
The original Greek Orthodox Church was built in 1909, using funds raised by Greeks who lived in Rostov. It lasted 55 years before being brought to the ground however, when the Soviets demolished and built a puppet theatre on the land. The rise of Orthodoxy following the fall of the USSR meant that talk about rebuilding the church was inevitable, and a new one was built near the site of the original. Work was completed in 2014, and it has been open since the beginning of 2015.

Open 08:00 - 19:00.
