As far as first impressions go, Vila Alice really couldn’t make a better one. A short walk from the lake and the bus station, this century old house has been modernised in the most adorable fashion and simply put is one of the prettiest boutique hotels we’ve come across. Seven spacious rooms fill the house, with the room named ‘Fire’ being the standout. The staff is multi-lingual and immensely helpful, the breakfast is beautifully varied. Such attention to detail is to be cherished.
